Routing and Securing

Cables can be installed underground via trenching or conduits, or aerially using poles or messenger wires. Ensure proper securing with clamps or ties that do not compress the cable. Maintain separation from electrical lines to avoid interference and comply with NEC Article 770 and ANSI/TIA standards .

Termination and Testing

After laying, terminate fibers using appropriate connectors and protect them from contamination or scratches. Test the network for attenuation, continuity, and signal integrity to ensure performance meets design specifications. Regular inspections and maintenance help prevent signal loss and physical damage over time .
