Step 2: Gather Tools and Equipment

Prepare the necessary tools and materials:

  • Drills, screwdrivers, and screws or anchors
  • Cable strippers and fiber jacket stripping tools
  • Fiber cleaver and fusion splicer
  • Splice trays, cable management rings, and protective grommets
  • Personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses)
  • Cable ties for securing fibers

Step 3: Mount the Fiber Distribution Box

  • Wall Mounting: Mark drill points according to the box's mounting holes, drill, insert wall plugs, and secure with screws.
  • Pole Mounting: Use the provided pole mounting kit or metal clamps to secure the box at a manageable height.
