Amplification and Network Expansion

Modern Fiber Optic Networks

Today, optical fiber networks support 100 Gb/s and beyond over distances exceeding 1000 km . Access networks employ Passive Optical Networks (PONs), including EPON and GPON, to deliver high-speed broadband to homes and businesses. Emerging technologies like multi-core and few-mode fibers promise capacities up to 1 petabit/s, addressing future demands for ultra-high-speed connectivity .
